I aws on Metoprolol for years when a Cardioligist from my group changed me to Coreg. I have had no problems and now that they have the generic Carvedilol it works the same, but a lot cheaper.

weight gain, third spacing fluid gain, severe depression and mood swings (feeling as if i was going to break down and cry uncontrollably to practically looking for a fight), severe upper and lower back pain and leg pain, symptoms increased with dosage increases, always felt weak and when drowsiness set in, be ready to lay down, severely interrupting my job as a firefighter, from September to Decem

Caused a skin rash on my face and scalp. It was psoriasis common with Beta blockers (found this on WebMD). Did control my BP but I felt tired at times. I'll be asking for another BP med to replace this one.
