I came out of remission on Tysabri after 4 yrs, so went to Tecfidera. I was thrilled to have an oral and was determined to stick through the side effects and I did. The flushing and stomach problems bothered me for about 2 months but I kept reading forums to see how other people were handling the drug. Unfortunately Tecfidera is not strong enough to put me back in remission so I have mini relapses...
it is very expensive. My insurance will cover it now, but down the road it may stop due to Obama care, then what

Been on it for 2 weeks. Too soon to tell about effectiveness or satisfaction. First week a lot of stomach distress however none this week. I was in a real bad episode when I started this medicine and I thought maybe I waited to late to start. I am much better the last 3 days.

I rated effectiveness only 3 stars because it's still early to tell how effective. No GI issues. Little flushing. Get a runny nose after each dose. Definitely better than daily injections or monthly infusions. Hoping it works for me. Been on it now for a month and a half.
