I took this birth control for 3 months. The first month I had spotting and my period lasted over 2 weeks. After the first month my period was very regular and light, lasting only about 2-3 days. I used to have irregular periods. This pill made me very emotional. I would cry very easily over things that made me slightly happy or sad. I did not gain any weight and it helped control my acne. Was on this pill for the last year and few odd months. Everything seemed fine up until a few months ago, when breakthrough bleeding started to occur. Cut to now, I have heaving bleeding again when it happened for 7 days straight 2 weeks ago, both mid pack. Doctor has no idea why the pill would start behaving like this, no help on this subject matter. Been told to grin and bear it while I pay 25$ a ... Show Full Comment

The side effects of this drug are pretty serious. I had bleeding for the first 5 months and severe depression and anxiety. After the bleeding stopped, my periods were longer than usual and I had spotting throughout the month, which aggravated my depression and anxiety. Terrible drug
