I have been taking Minastrin 24 Fe for almost a year and I have yet to have a period! I have no cramps, no bleeding, no side effects. It's crazy! I've taken multiple pregnancy tests to confirm I wasn't pregnant since not getting my period and all have been negative. It must be the way my body chemistry reacts to the hormone and that is why I haven't gotten my period. I will say the ... Show Full Comment

Within the first two weeks on this pill i had stopped spotting and i no longer would bleed during sex. So far no extreme mood swings like i had on depo, no severe depression or random crying. i gain mayb ... Show Full Comment

I have been on this pill a little over 6 months. This is the first pill I have ever been on, and I'm 17. I was so nervous to take it after reading the reviews, but Minastrin has worked wonders for me. I used to have periods from hell. Super heavy & painful, lasting about 7 days. It has now given me 4 days of extremely light and barely crampy periods. I love it! I chew it personally, I don& ... Show Full Comment

I have experienced an EXTREME drop in sex drive since starting Minastrin. I have also noticed that I am more irritable since beginning use. I have experienced nausea (which I have experienced with all oral contraceptives I have tried). My decreased sex drive is my biggest complaint and has been so extreme that I will not continue the use of this drug.
