I've used this product on my 10 month old son. I prefer this brand over Desitin because Destin leaves residue. I have used both the cream and spray form of Boudreaux. I prefer the spray form because it is easy to use. Honestly, for the cut he had under his shaft the barrier it creates healed it within 2 days, with signs of healing noticeable within a few hours. It cleared his diaper rash with 2-3 ...
We have used this medication for my three month old grand-daughter. She became very red in the diaper area and cried horribly during her changing after she was wiped clean. Through process of elimination we discovered that her irritation came from wiping the butt paste off with huggies baby wipes. During her next changing of a dirty diaper I used A & D ointment and the same wipes with no reaction....

I have to put it on my toddler once for a mild rash, two or three times for a very serious one. Since I bought this for my first child, I haven't gotten any other brand. Hands down the best diaper rash I have ever used and I've tried four other brands before that one. So every time I go to a baby shower, I make sure I buy some buttpaste for their little ones.

This product made my 5 month old's diaper rash worse! I will not use it again.

My grandson had a bout of diarrhea causing a very red burned look in the anal area. We applied the Boudreaux butt paste thinking it is for diaper rash. He screamed in pain. We tried to wipe it off and put on some vaseline. He was still crying and stiffening his legs. It wasn't until we washed it off completely and reapplied the vaseline that he felt relief.
