Honestly after reading the reviews I was scared but I already bought it and decided to give it a chance everyone is differnt. I honestly think it depends on how bad it is... I would say I had a very mild case and I I didn't treat it right away I let 4days pass.. I used it before going to bed and it BURNED. It burned through the night and into the morning. After a shower, it's a less intense burning sensation, but still there. At least I'm not itching...

I got the generic brand (Miconazole 1) which has the same exact stuff at the Monistat 1... I was having cottage cheese looking discharge, some yellowish discharge, and SEVERE itching and swelling due to the itching, it was a complete nightmare. I am a physician. I took this product for the first time. I addition to the severe burning I got , which I tolerated (because I have a high tolerance to pain) I had a severe reaction , where I could not breath.
