Switching from daily regimen of multiple IR hydrocodone based tablets to a single dose with 42 hour efficacy is very efficient. Each ER tablet dose depending on unknown factors can have analgesic peaks, usually in the evening with sometimes earlier peaking. Overall, the ability to take one tablet per day reduces sense of dependency and assumes a sort of autopilot status regarding pain relie...

My pm doc started me on this drug because immediate release hydrocodone wasn't lasting long enough. My pain level has gone down from a constant 6-7 to nearly 0. I can sleep all night.

This drug has changed my life. I went from having constant severe pain in my feet to being able to stand at my kitchen sink and was the dishes without having spend 3 hours doing it. I have my freedom back. My pain was so severe that my feet stayed swollen. They are now almost normal. A big thank you to the makers of this drug. I can fall asleep and stay asleep. My side effects are very mild.

Leaves me with a hangover type feeling. I was on Vicodin prior to this experiment. I am extremely careful about the Vicodin because of its addictive potential

No pain coverage. Supposed to be a 24 hour med, but what little relief I get lasts barely 10. This stuff is garbage.

I have been on pain meds for 10 yrs. I was taking 4-5 a day. My dr. Switched me to this, what a difference. Instead of the roller coaster ride of highs and lows, it's just a steady relief. I can live a somewhat normal day to day life now. I do keep a regular pain pill with me at all times to use as a "break- through " pill, but yet had to use one.

I have been in pain treatment for 3 years my doctor has me on oxicodone 10mg 3 x a day plus the 20bmg Hysingla 2 x a day and it works. I'm on these doses though because I have a life long condition that will never get better just worse.I thank the Lord Jesus for my long acting plus my short acting. I've noticed a couple comments where some are taking only 1 medication at a time it might help to take a short acting along with the long acting. Speaking for myself it works .

Since I started taking the Hysingla it has helped, The only thing is the cost of the pills the 60 mg one time a day for 28 pills I will haft to pay 249.00 That is with my Blue Cross Blue shield insurance. I am a disabled Vietnam Vet and the VA doesn't have this type of meds so my cost would pay my light bill I live on a disable check of 2600.00 for 3 people not counting grocies and other bills we have per month. Makes it very hard to buy the meds after this first o pay copay. I don't know if I will be able to afford it. But it is starting to help with my pain. Thank you. Unfortunately, I didn't tolerate the side effects at all. I was extremely dizzy, shaking, anxious, itching and got absolutely no pain relief. Couldn't sleep at night and couldn't stay awake during the day. A really bad experience for me.

The medication is very effective in treating my chronic lower back/hip pain. The only issues I have been having are problems getting the medication from any local pharmacy and the expense, my insurance will not cover any part of the cost and it is expensive.

I was on this medication for 1 month. I do not think this medication has an effective time release system. When I took the medication I felt that the dose was extra high at the beginning and not effective near the end of the 24 hour period.

I am up to 60 mg daily dose and still no relieve. I see no benefit to it especially for the price they are charging. Maybe it is good for people who have not used Hydrocodone for an extended period of time but this definitely does not replace Hydrocodone or make a difference for my chronic pain.

On day three. I've been on norco for years now, and over the six years I've had to bump it up for tolerance. Currently take two norco 10/325 3x a day. Also take Ibuprophen 800 mg 3x a day and on Butrans 20. Doc cut out norco for hysingla 60. Well day one felt like withdrawl physically - no nausea but horrible full body pain, couldn't sleep(nor move). Day two my shoulders and hips are so sore, and I'm stopping to go back to norco (what little I have left). I'm not going to be able to work on this......if I can't go back or get a differnt more effective treatment ill be on disability :( Read More Read Less
