Soolantra has cleared up all the bumps and all the redness. Ive tried several oral and topical medications and nothing has worked as well!

For those that have tried this drug for Demodex mites that are causing Rosacea, one to three weeks is not a sufficient amount of time before quiting. You will notice an improvement but you cannot stop. You have to use it even if your face has cleared up. The lifecycle of a Demodex mite is 3 to 4 weeks. I've been on it for about 5 months and will do 6 months of daily use. After that, as needed. I have no scaring. A coupon from the company (from doctor) lowered my payment that insurance does not yet cover. Yes, it is the same ivermectin given to animals but we didn't want to chance guessing a human dosage. This product only to be used on face (be careful around eyes). Free samples helped and just recently received a prescription tube that will last at least 3 months. Price was $300 but coupon brought it down to about $125 or $41/month for a 3 month or more tube. Worth every penny. This kills the mites. Don't waste your time trying home remedies. See a dermatologist who understands Rosacea with Demodex mites. We had a clinic of Dermatologists. First doc was clueless yet a biopsy used the word arachnid. Second doctor knew what he was doing. I'm on my second week of using this and my face has episodes where it flares up and gets completely red. Is this normal?

Soolantra is not as good as oral antibiotics (I took Doxicycline for about 8 years for rosacea). But it is the first cream that worked for me. I am sticking with it. BUT! I am using the same drug at, literally, 1/30 the cost. That is, the horse de-worming medicine Ivermectine. It is made to be eaten by horses. I rub about 0.1 grams on my face and it works as well as Soolantra. It is a bit oily, and smells a bit of apples (it is made for horses to eat) but I like it fine compared to Soolantra. But it on Amazon for about $40 for 72 grams (same amount of active ingredient as 120 grams of Soolantra). Read More Read Less

I'm shocked. After months of rosacea bumps and redness, after only a few days using Soolantra, it's all gone. I wish I'd known about this sooner.

Week 1 was very encouraging, I noticed a slow down in new pimples. Week 2 I broke out (more than usual) around my problem areas (top of lip and under the eyes/cheeks) but I was told this could be the demodex 'die off' (frankly I have no clue). I've just started Week 3 and the old pust filled pimples (which has always been my biggest problem) have been replaced with red patches, I use to get a wave of new pimples every night. Love love love soolantra! First cream that actually showed results within a week. I've tried almost every cream out there for the last 3yrs and decided if this didn't work I was going to try Lazer treatment. BUT IT WORKED!

Only rosacea symptom I have is facial redness. Have been using for 2 months and see NO improvement, but will continue.

I have had rosacea for years, that had gradually gone from mere redness to itching, burning, pustules filled with fluid. I was embarrassed at 40 to look like a teen. I have tried ALL the topicals (metro,Finacea) oral antibiotics, only seeing very slight improvement. I have been on Soolantra for one month and I am totally clear. I started using the medicine in October 2015. Almost immediately my rosacea, which I believe stemmed from facial mites cleared up. This has been a life saving med. I have been plagued with itching on my face for over 2 years and now that has stopped as well.

I suffered from acne rosacea for 30 years and the embarrassment not wanting to leave the house at times. Wind hot showers a beer or spicey food anf whamoo. 6 months ago found soolantra and Im essentially cured. I might apply it once every two or three weeks now.Hardly a single bleamish.... Seems to good to be true.

I started using Soolantra 2 weeks ago, and haven't seen much of a difference. I'm definitely going to keep using it, and hopefully overtime I will see results.

I started using Soolanta eight months ago. From day one my skin started to improve. I'm primarily a huge blusher with periodic acne rosacea. My skin barrier went from broken flakey skin on my cheeks to smooth, less sensitive skin and I have not had one rosacea bump since I started. The red inflammation has decreased substantially. This is not a cure but my skin has greatly improved and it's the only medication I've been able to tolerate.

After 8 1/2 weeks I almost gave up. My skin was worse, redder, dry patches and more bumps... and then... over the next 5 days it cleared! My face has not looked this good since college. I have been on the treatment for 6 months an could not be happier. Well I wish it was cheaper, but I will pay the price for clear skin.

It works. I am thrilled Soolantra has cleared my skin of redness and pustules. No other treatment has come close to how well this product works against Rosacea.

I used this product for about six months and within a matter of time it was cleared up. I ran out of the cream and never had it refilled. Its been about two months no cream no flare ups. Hogjly recommend this cream. My complexion is so much better and softer.

Used Soolantra for 3 days . On the third day my face seemed to be getting worse . Red and itchy with 3 hice like bumps on the side of my jaw area . I called my derm and he instructed me to stop using . Called in another RX for me . Not sure if I had a reaction or not to this but as soon as I stopped using it my face seemed a little better . Except the itches did not go away till I started the new RX .

LOVE IT!! My face cleared up in days after using it. My skin feels softer and smoother than it has is years! I would definitely recommend it.
