The taste of this pill makes me gag... almost wish I could vomit just to get the taste out of my mouth!

in late stage cancer and near the end of my chemotherapy they had tried everything to keep me solid and alive. i had lost 77 pounds and this was the only lil pill that would soothe my guts from frowning on crackers. i'm one and a half years in remission and ready with my lil pills to start maintanance chemo.

not only has this medicine helped me with my nausea, but because it also has the side effect of constipation, it has actually helped ease my IBS symptoms and cramping.

I am 12 weeks pregnant and have become extremely depressed from my constant nausea and vomiting. It has been hard to work or do anything. This drug saved my life. I feel normal! I am happy again and can actually eat. I wish I would have known about this medication earlier in my pregnanacy, it would have saved me alot of heartache. I highly recommend anyone that is pregnant take this medication. The headaches/constipation are much more tolerable than throwing up!!!

My daughter would vomit from high fevers. She could not keep water or food down and would dehydrate. It's very effective for nassua and a lot easier to take than butt candy.

I took Promethazine before, and my doctor told me Ondansetron (generic for Zofran) was safer. So far, I miss the Promethazine! Promethazine made me very tired, but worked all day, and gave me an appetite. With Ondansetron, I still feel nauseous all day and can hardly keep food down. Saltine crackers are my friend, but even they make me feel sick sometimes too. This medicine is not worth the headache or the price. Everyone should switch to Promethazine! Works like a charm!

This medication worked great for me. It did make me very lightheaded and dizzy but in my opinion that's better than a day of nausea and vomiting.

I use this for stomach migraines. It works great! If I can’t stop the vomiting at home I have to go to the hospital where they use the same thing only in higher dose.

This seems to work pretty well. I was issued this drug for Kidney stone related nausea and it ceased 12 hours of vomiting for me. I am still queezy, however able to keep liquids down.

Thank goodness this medicine exists. My kids have taken it for vomiting during flu...it has helped immensely. The first time after taking it there is an initial episode of vomiting, but then they are new kids...I am thankful. Keep it on hand.

It's the only drug that keeps me from the emergency room, IVs etc - I suffer (really suffer!) from Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS). I take an 8mg & at the most, had to use two. It has stopped every single episode. I used to be put on a stomach pump with a tube down my nose for 2-4 days. I think I would have ended up killing myself if it had gone on & then a dr in the ER gave me a prescription for this as I was checking out. It has changed my life. It has made me be able to keep living.

I suffer from extreme internal vertigo and have been on the scolpomine patch for 2 years. Because of its toxicity to the body, we're trying very other "nausea" pills so I can get off this patch. Unfortunately, this bill worked for less than about 5 hours. I was so sick I grabbed a scolpomine patch and my bucket and hit the bed. After remaining still for about an hour, I put the patch back in and fell asleep for a couple of hours. when I woke up, I was feeling better - but because of the patch. we will try a couple of other nausea meds and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that one of them will work.Read More Read Less

I keep this on hand for my kids (and myself of course) and my Pediatrician suggests taking this for 'any occasion' in which nausea and vomiting are occuring...Food Poisoning, Stomach Flu etc...My 10yr old has food poisoning right now but I have used it in the past for the Stomach flu and it has worked awesome!
