After vacomycin IV and extremely resistant MRSA staph bacterial infection, completed rifampin oral 300 mg twice a day for 28 days. Am now free of MRSA staph.

My doctor gave me this medicine because I had a staff infection.This medicine is used to treat tuberculosis, I had all the side effects nausea,vomiting,headache,fever,muscle weakness,joint pain. I ended up in the hospital for 5 days with renal failure. I only took this medicine for 3 days. It took me weeks to recover after I was out of this hospital.
