This works great for me with minimum side effects. Took aciphex before and that worked well but too much bloating and side effects. Everyone is different so you will always need to trial these drugs. On kapidex now because of insurance reasons but same family hope it works.

i take this medicine because i suffer from acid reflux really . really bad.some times i have to take 2 at 40mil each. if i take it in time it works , but if i wait and take it when i am feeling the systoms of acid reflux it is to late.my dr. has me take one of them but sometimes i have to take 2.

Prior to taking this medication, i had tried 6 other medications for my GERD that was described as very severe. Once I took protonix, it relieved my symptoms almost completely so i continued to take it for 3-4 years. My doctor recently advised that I stop taking it to see how I react.
