My husband has been using this for low testosterone levels and low sex drive. He has been on it for 6 months and sleeping with every woman he has met in the last 5 months. WE ARE GETTING DIVORCED!

Hubby (age 48) has been using Androgel for almost a year and it's made a world of difference. For many years he had prostatitis; more recently, he's had Low-T. He'd become sluggish, depressed, moody and a lack of libido. Now he's regained his energy, libido and friendly disposition. It took awhile to get the dosage right but it was worth the effort. He's currently using 3 pumps per day of Androgel 1.62%, which means that 1 pump-style bottle lasts 20 days. Our insurance requires that maintenance drugs such as this must cover at least 30 days, so he is issued 2 bottles at a time. This cost us $20 every 40 days. Unfortunately, our insurance coverage has changed. This drug, which cost us $20 last month, will cost us $277 this month; however,I called our insurance company and spoke with someone in the pharmacy, and there's actually some good news: if Hubby's doctor simply rewrites the prescription from Androgel PUMP to Androgel PATCH, our cost will go from $277 to....$16! This is great, not just due to the expense but the actual use. The gel from the pump is somewhat inconvenient. It takes about 5-10 minutes to dry after application, which is a lot of time for someone rushing to get dressed for work in the a.m. Also, you can't shower, swim or wipe off sweat for at least 2 hours after application, and at that point, only 50% of the drug has been absorbed. It takes about 8 hours for near-full absorption. The patch, though, requires no dry-time. It's worn for 24 hrs and then removed, to be replaced by a new patch. Had T levels below 300. Had no energy, always tired, lost libido. Took shots and used gel both for year. Now on only gel. Feel better, waist size noticeably smaller, more energy. Desire sex again. Morning wood is even back! I do worry about long term, but the pros have been beneficial.

I had consistently low testosterone tests. I had good sexual desire but erectile dysfunction only partially cured by use of Levitra. I started Androgel nine months ago. I am using three pumps daily. The only effects have been that I now have good, consistent erections when using with Levitra. I am lifting more weight at the gym but I'm not sure that's not the result of going more often. No other side effects and blood tests are normal.

I used Androgel for many years until my insurance company upped the deductible to $250 for 3 months, and their generic Testim is $14/mo. Testim is so sticky and doesn't dry quickly like Androgel. I'm on the maximum dosage of each, and my T count dropped from 900 to 700 after switching over. I highly recommend Androgel - it works great!

Made a significant difference for the better. Gained energy, gained libido, gained sexual performance, more active, less depressed, more optimistic, more confident, marriage improved, went from no sex to sex six times per month.

Doctors should really tell their patients about all the side effects. My husband starting taking this and is verbally abusive and walked out on his family. He did gain muscle mass and libido but became depressed, paraniod, and directed all of anger towards me and the kids. He so happy with the way that he looks that he will never give the drug up unless it causes serious health issues.

I have been suffering for at least a decade with next to no sex drive and ED. At 51, my doc discovered that i have Low-T. I'm 43yrs of age and tested low for testosterone. The urologist put me on Androgel 5.0g sachets and after 2 weeks 14 days I noticed nothing getting better but getting worse. I was depressed, sweating and had a headache for 3 days straight as well as insomnia. I stopped taking the Androgel and within 3 days started to feel normal again. My next appointment with the Urologist is June 10/14 it is May 19/14 today so I'll have to wait to start the test injections instead as everyone I've spoken to said they will work...so my experience on Androgel was a horrible one. Spoke with Androgel direct AB pharma. I'm angry the instructions DO NOT tell you only 50% of product is absorbed in 2 hours. YOU CANNOT SHOWER for 24 hours after application to achieve 100% absorption. You are paying 100% of price for 50% of effect! THis is a deceitful practice not informing the user.

I'm 62,athletic and look closer to under 50. I workout with a trainer 3 days a week and Pilates at least once a week. My trainer mentioned that I could lose belly fat if I tried a Testoserone booster. I tried one that I liked from GNC, and became interested in Andro Gel. I have a moderate T score. My doctor was initially reluctant to let me use it, but I am in great shape, but need to lose 20 lbs' I carry my weight in my belly. I have been on Andro Gel for 2 weeks. I can tell you that I am putting on muscle mass without using heavy weights, I feel more energetic and libido is very strong. Before Andro Gel, my manhood felt limp throughout the day, but with Andro Gel, it feels fat when flacid and rock hard when erect. I feel more masculine--I know that sounds strange, but it adds confidence to me and several friends asked if I had had a face lift (don't know where that came from). Started using Androgel, lost 6lbs in 2 weeks, no working out. more energy, sex drive has increased but not crazy... No mood swings

54 years old. Testosterone level was 60. Felt 90 years-old and had heart failure. After taking drug energy increased, cardiac strength increased, energy levels increased. Heart has stopped fibrillating and I feel great.

Husband has been on this for 6 months. He has been wanting sex evernight. I can't keep up. He has been sleeping around now and ended up with herpes and gave them to me. We are getting divorced.

I still have no energy or sex drive. I've taken Androgel for 6 months. One bad side effect that I have is hair loss. I'm going bald, hair is falling out and I'm going to stop taking this today.

I am using two pumps daily and very easy to use, I now wake up with an erection every morning. I was using the patches, but if it is hot they do not stay on and I rarely wake up with an erection and I was wearing a 5mg and a 2 1/2mg patch nitely, I also use to get the injection type, but that had me up and down and had hot flashes, The Andro Gel 1.62% is the best thing that has happened to me.

My husband has been using this for several months and almost every time we have sex, I end up at Dr for bladder infection. Any body else having this problem?

Love it works great for me i am only 29 and i lost my sex drive now its back yes i quit soft drinks and my levels drop to low i hate it having this problem at a young age i am done having kids thank god
