When I first started taking the medicine I would take three capsules three times a day now I take three capsules two times a day. Great drug, I am symptom free.

This medication didn't do a thing for me. Had trouble swallowing all those pills (3-3 times a day). Had to mix them with applesauce in order to get them down. Also had trouble remembering to take them.

Have been on this medication, 6 pills 3x/day, for the past 7 years for the treatment of ulcerative colitis. Overall have been very satisfied with the effectiveness of the medication. I do use it in conjunction with 6-mp and a canasa suppository but it has definitely been instrumental in keeping my flare-ups to a minimum.

Ulcerative colitis without symptoms. Mis diagnosed 11 years ago. (Didn't know I had it) Flare up 3 years ago. Taking Colazal 8 capsules a day ever since. Feel great, seems to be in remission. Heard there is a one pill a day treatment out. May consider it, but hate to ruin a good thing.
