At first I loved it. Now that I has been in for about 3 months I am having nothing but problems, all the time. I get black an blue marks on my legs all the time. It looks like someone had beat me up. I had mirena inserted 2mos. after the birth of my daughter. I didn't even feel a thing! I had a few light cramps afterward and some spoting for 3 days that has stopped now. I am happy that it didn't hurt like the majority of people said it would.

I am not usually one to complain about a new drug. Being an RN, I try to really give things a go and let it have some time before judging it but I am making an exception with this! Immediatel after getting the mirena I started losing my hair, they blamed on me being post partum. However this did not happen for the 8 weeks I had nothing in post partum. I kept it in thinking I was over reacting. I ... Show Full Comment
