I had it placed in about 2 yrs ago and i love it. There is no monthly birth control bills or remembering to take you pill. It really works. But each person must see if the good outweights the bad. I cramp every month about a week before my cycle and during, sometimes its worst some months than others. I once felt like i was in labor. My sex drive has decreased to the point where it troubled my rel ... Show Full Comment

I had mine inserted March of 2006 and have been having headaches ever since. I did not have periods only little spotting every once in a while. I loved it except the headaches. My doctor suggested this b/c of endometriosis, and my inability to remember to take the pill. I was tired of forgetting and worrying about getting pregnant. Putting it in was nothing. I had already had 2 children and I guess my cervix was ok with it. No pain whatsoever, no dizziness, no cramping. I did have moderate cramping for a few days afterward. My periods have been irregular, I have head ... Show Full Comment

I've had the IUD for a little over 4 months and I love it! My sex drive has went way down but it keeps the babies away. When getting it inserted there was little cramping but I have not had a period in over 3 months! I'd recommend it to anyone who still wants kids but isnt ready.
