I have had almost every side effect of this drug, without the cancer part. I bleed almost every day. There is maybe a week out of the month that I dont. I have discharge all the time(no infection tho). Headaches, cramps, stomach problems, depression, SEVERE drop in libido(sex makes me want to vomit right now), fatigue, weight gain, everything.

I only had my Mirena put in a few weeks ago, but so far, I have nothing bad to say. My youngest is 1 1/2, and we decided we didn't want another child too soon. My sex drive has increased, and I love the freedo ... Show Full Comment

I was aware of no side effects but I have had major hair loss but I wasn't aware of why, but it was a long bloody procedure to put it in. If I hadn't trusted my doctor so much I would have stopped her in the middle. She had to try a few times and it took over half an hour as she said the opening to my cervix is tiny tiny. Also, I had it put in when I was in a long-term relationship and we ... Show Full Comment
