Due to a viral infection, my nose was stopped up and my ears clogged. I had a lot of pressure in my head. This medication relieved all of that within minutes.

I was given this to help unclog my eustachian tube in my left ear. I had a bad reaction. I was jittery and had crazy mood swings (swinging from normal to down in the dumps). also my heart was racing. The cure was worse than the curse. No more for me

I have extreme pain flying when the airplane is landing and taking pseudophedrine one hour before I am pain free. I guess my sinus are enflame.

Works well clearing up my runny/stuffed up nose due to allergies. DO NOT take near bedtime. All the reviewers who did were up all night. Follow the directions. Drink plenty of fluids. Phenylepherine does not work at all for me, ever.

Within an hour or so I was actually able to breath through my nose, however I wouldn't recommend taking them before you go to sleep. Rare side effect or not, nightmares aren't my idea of a fun time.

After taking a dose two hours before bedtime, I was unable to sleep through the night. I saw the clock every hour and was alert enough at 2:30 AM to watch a movie until 4 AM. I never have trouble sleeping. Now, nine hours later I am still jittery.

I took this for a sinus infection I had in hopes it would decrease my sinus swelling and thin the secretions in my nose. I took it at about 6:00 pm - extra strength, extended release - and as I went to bed around 10:00 I felt extremely jittery and restless. As soon as I drifted off to sleep around midnight I was awakened by a second wave of restlessness (the extended release activating?) and was up till 3:00 am. The side effects were far worse than the illness. To try again I took a regular dose in the morning (still extended release) and while the jitteriness wasn't as noticeable or bothersome because I was awake, it didn't do very well at decreasing the swelling and thinning the secretions in my sinuses. No more Sudafed for me.Read More Read Less

This stuff decreases libido for men so beware of unexpected negative consequences in the bedroom with your girlfriend or wife.

I had stuffy nose and tried some nasal drops. Though the nose cleared for two days, again the same problem resurfaced with the addition of head ache. The my pharmacist prescribed this tablet with the trade name "CLARINASE" and believe me in just 8 hours, I am relieved of all the symptoms.

I had tried several cold/allergy medications at bed time and found that this worked at keeping my nose clear throughout the night.
