Other than being a little drowsy for a very short time after taking, it seems to work very well. My dr. prescribed me to take 2 at the time, but i only take 1. And not as often as he ordered.

prescribed after ACL reconstruction. Not sure if it was effective but MD wanted to use it to reduce swelling. However after six weeks I developed a rash on my leg which spread over more of my body. Discontinued drug at that point.

I started taking the drug this summer. I had been taking over the counter naproxen and it was not helping my knee and hip pain. This drug has brought relief from the pain. I take is generally once a day. Sometimes a take a second dose in the evening.

Currently taking 400mg 2x daily. No improvement in joint pain/swelling. The only thing it did for me was give me heartburn.

SWEATING _ this is not normal sweating. i can leave the house in my air conditioned car - get to the supermarket - be there 15 minuted (store is air conditioned) the sweating starts. within another 15 minutes i can take my shirt off and wring it out. people laugh when they see how wet i am, not to mention the discomfort in the AC. i have become a hermit in my house too embarrassed to go out.

I took this for 2 months because of symptoms presenting as juvenile arthritis. I found it to be rather ineffective, though it did reduce the pain occasionally.

I am taking this med for pain from Fibromyalgia. This is day 4 of taking 400mg 2x a day. Starting last night I noticed a stinging/tingling sensation in various areas of my skin. Today it is spreading from head to toe, off and on, and is uncomfortable and somewhat itchy. Skin is red in areas, like a mild sunburn. It has helped my muscle and joint pain quite a bit, but I am concerned about this skin issue. Calling Dr tomorrow. Just took some Benadryl to see if that would help, we'll see. No GI issues at all tho. I used to take Hydrocodone, but became dependent on it and had to keep increasing dose...kind of scared me, so I weaned off of it a couple of yrs ago. Have since just taken Ibuprofen or Naproxen Sodium. My pain has once again increased, so trying Etodolac for the first time. Don't know if this side effect will get worse or better w time, it took 3 days for it to appear, so who knows.Read More Read Less

Worked great for my knee pain and arthritis but after a few weeks, I have trouble falling to sleep and I have all over itchy skin a few minutes after taking the pill. This is what causes me to not fall asleep unless taking a sleeping pill. I will not continue to take this pill.

Very effective medication. My Ortho.Dr prescribed this instead of the Celebrex my GP had me on. I used it for 6 months and I discontinued back in February because my refills had run out and I was unable to see the Ortho Dr again due to our insurance. Started taking Alieve (neproxine) I did pay close attention to the gradual return of the pain and stiffness and realized in May just how bad things were. Has my GP prescribe the Etodoelac again and within 2 days had great relief. Has to be the most effective and affordable meds out there. Only side effect has been constipation, I take a natural fiber supplement every other day and I all works well.Read More Read Less

I started taking this drug five days ago for wrist pain. The pain has not subsided in my wrists; and I note the side effects are continuous itching and sore throat. Back to square one again.
