I have been taking this drug for 6 weeks now. I am now experiencing hair loss and acne. I stopped taking the drug yesterday and will look for alternative, non-drug options.

I am 55. First started this to increase libido. Was amazed how much it helped. But that was only temporary. I have since gained 20 pounds without changing my eating habits. No more for me. Note to others: I have finally found relief of my hot flashes by simply taking a multi vitamin.

I have been taking this since my hysterectomy in 1985. I started out on a higher does and was changed to a lower dose a couple of years ago. It doesn't help me as well as the higher dose did but my doctor wants me to go off of them completely. I compromised with the lower dose. I have tried to go completely off but get really depressed.

I'm 53yrs old. I've tried everything I could think of too get rid of hot flashes, nothing really helped. Was on premarin years ago and stopped taking it. My libido is gone, so my doctor suggested I take this one. I've been extremely dizzy!!! Very nauseous, but I'm certain, or I hope it stops soon after my body adjusts. My breasts are sore. But thats nothing compared too hot flashes.

I much preferred when I was taking the brand name. I am told it is no longer made and now take a generic form. I do not like it as much due to some side effectsw.

I have only 2days taking these green pills..I am healthy and do not take any meds..I asked my doctor for something that had Testosterome to help me lose weight. I know it should help me but, if it has any different effect I will post it. Anita

I had a sever reaction to this drug and had to figure it out on my own that this is what was wrong with me no help from Dr's or all the tests I was put through before I myself dicovered it was an adverse reaction to the drug.

my wife started to withdraw and get moody and hang out on the coach, I asked her if she was still taking meds she said yes? I checked her bottle and discovered she wasnt taking it for a month, she restarted meds and I watched her change before my eyes this med works she fears hair growth and other issues weight and such, this stuff works I pray she doesnt have any future problems like a beard. Have gained 10 pounds after having to double dose and crave constant sweets. Blood pressure has spiked. Facial hair plus acne makes this medication not for me. I'd rather have the other problems!

This treatment started out great but now after 5 months i am starting to see changes in me i do not like. I have gained 10 lbs and have not changed my eating habits, I have acne which i have never ever had before and I have more facial hair plus i have stop sleeping thru the nite. My husband said I have become mean and hard to talk to. So the pill starts off great but turns bad.

I have taken this drug (double strength) for 9 months. I have seen zero increase in libido. I have seen an extra 20 pounds added to my stomach, hips and thighs. I work out 4 days/week on a treadmill 40 minutes each. I'm active on the other 3 days. My breasts have gotten huge! I already had adequate size and didn't need to see additional growth. Very displeased with the results. What else is out there for us who have had a full hystro and over the age of 50 with hot flashes, night sweats, low energy (throw in an under active thyroid too) and lack of libodo? I had surgery 7 years ago and I have been taking this one for awhile. I have started having Headaches everyday, Hurting in my chest. I am worried that I need to stop taking this but I don't want the hot flashes and the mood changes. I also have a high risk in Breast cancer in my family. What should I do???

When taking this medication, i feel so much better, no hot flashes or night sweats. My libido has also increased. I have tried at least 2 times to wean myself off of this med but the hot flashes and night sweat returned. Within 1 week of restarting the medication all symptoms resolved.

Been on this medicine for over a year and no serious side effects. I do have a couple of "moustache" hairs to pluck every few days.

55 year old female. I no longer have heavy menstrual cyles and hot flashes. I was amazed at the difference it made in my libido. I feel 21 again. Excellent results.

I had a partial hystro in 1990 and started taking full strength in '97 due to libido problems. I switched to half strength 2 yrs ago without any problem. In June '09, my prescription service took Estratest off their formulary. My doctor's MA then talked me into stopping HRT due to risks. My life turned completely upside down (hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, unable to sleep thru the night, problems with libido - I was starting to feel like a zombie due to lack of sleep). Switched to a female doctor and she put me back on half strength just yesterday. I can't believe how much better I feel with just one dose. I actually got a good night's sleep last night!!! This incident has taught me a very valuable lesson - I will never again allow a pharmacy or a doctor's MA dictate what I can and cannot take!!Read More Read Less
