This medication is highly addictive. If you are an addict of any kind, I strongly recomend you take percautions with it. It can and has ruined many lives. If you are addicted and want help, I suggest you contact a hospital and talk to someone about Suboxone.

A fairly good pain reliever if used with an anti inflamatory. (i use prescription voltaren)i use itthe lortab 10 for pain from 3 ruptured vertebrae in my neck. trying to avoid majir surgery. the 7-5's did nothing for me. the 10's make a good difference. so far so good........

DO NOT USE THIS DRUG!!! It is habit forming and causes severe mood swings. My father is taking this drug for pain related to cancer treatments and the drug has a profound effect on his moods. Taking Tylenol or other OTC is better than the side effects of this medication. This has been a nightmare!

I HAVE HAD EXCELLANT RELIEF FROM THIS MEDICATION. I HAD BACK SURGERY 2 YEARS AGO AND AFTER 6 MONTHS BEGAN HAVING THE SAME PAIN IF NOT WORSE THAN BEFORE SURGERY. WENT TO PAIN MANAGMENT DR. WHO STARTED GIVING ME EPIDURALS THAT LAST ABOUT 2 WEEKS. I WORK FULL TIME AND A LOT OF OVERTIME AND WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO WORK AT ALL IF NOT FOR THIS MEDICATION. I KNOW IT CAN BE ADDICTIVE, BUT THIS IS THE ONLY MEDICATION THAT I CAN USE TO LIVE A SOMEWHAT NORMAL LIFE. WITHOUT IT I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO WORK AT ALL AND I DO NOT WANT TO GIVE UP AND GO ON DISABILITY. RIGHT NOW THIS IS MY ONLY OPTION.Read More Read Less

I have a inner ear infection and the pain is beyond what I have ever experienced. I am 44 and even when I went through cancer surgery I went with out pain meds, even though my husband out of concern had the pain killers filled. The lortab has done zero for pain relief. Motrin works better. Don't waist your money on this med. I see a lot of people become addicted to this opiate. Why, I have no idea. Different strokes for different folks.

My doctor order Lortab 10-500 for severe ear pain. It did not give any relief. However, I was given Lortab 7.5mg and got more relief. Please explain how that works. I thought the stronger medicine would work best.
