I have been on this medication for about 3 years for migraines. My doctor tried multiple medication before starting me on this. All of the triptan drugs for migraines only raised my blood pressure to dangerous levels. I take Norco 1 four times per day and it has really helped to keep them at bay. Yes I do have the occasional break through migraine but all in all they are so much better control ... Show Full Comment

I have been taking this class of drugs for back pain for around 7 years. I took it the first 4 years or so on and off and suffered greatly on a daily basis until; I was able to get a prescription on a regular basis through a pain management center. I suffer from osteoarthritis of spine, hips, and two injuries one to my shoulder,one my upper /lower back. Surgery not an option for me, so Dr. prescribed Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5/500,back in 2003 then onto Hydocodone 10/325.Been on this class of opiates for about 3 yrs.now. have some mild liver involvement due to acetaminophen component, but switching to Norco helps.according to recent blood ...
