Took one dose. Made me violently ill. Headache and nausea for 2 days. Is this codeine (?) based?

This is the best for persistant cough. I do take it with food so as to not get sick. Allowed me to actually get some much needed rest so i could get better.

This stuff is amazing! Almost immediately after the first dose I stop the cough and usually don't for up to 8 hours. However, I started to break out with an allergic reaction recently and I had to come off of it. this is the first time I realized it was an allergic reaction, I have taken this for years and never put the reaction together with the medicine. I am very upset that I can no longer use the medicine becuase it does work so well!

I took this medication for acute bronchitis. The first does went fine. The second does had me in the bathroom throwing up my dinner. NASTY! I refuse to continue to take it.

For me, I had no side effects other than being a little light-headed. Quickly got rid of my bronchitis cough and made me feel much better.
