I love kariva and have taken it for years with very little side effects compared to its generic version viorele which had terrible weight gain, mood swings and needed more sleep. No matter what your doctor or pharmasist says they are not the same drug and have very different results!!!

In even the first few days of taking this BC, I experienced drastic mood swings, weight gain, and extremely decreased libido. I hated it- I know the first month is supposed to be bad, but noticing these side effects in the first couple days is not a good sign. I would NOT recommend this birth control!

When I first started I had a few headaches and had an upset stomach every once in a while, but that was only for the first week and it honestly wasn't that bad. My eating habits are pretty crazy, some days I will have no appetite at all while other days I feel like I need to eat everything in sight. I'm a High School athlete so maybe that has so ...
