I have been on this medication for 6 years. I started out on premarin, and had headaches, with nervousness. Doctor tried me on Clamira 0.05mg. And it was wonderful. Made me feel like my old self again. I like the idea of taking a low dose of hormone. And this one of the lowest they make. Plus no pill to take. Change patch once a week and I'm good to go. Be sure when you put it on that you rub for ...

Hello..I have not even begun to take my hrt..i was prescribed the pill, premarin cream and the patch..not all to be used of course. I am very leery about using any H rt. It seems there Re so many dangers. Breast cancer, stroke, heart attack. I do have all the menopausal symptoms. I have 1 remaining ovary. I'm also on a weight loss program. And as bad as it sounds I do not want to gain any weight. ...

I’ve been on the estradiol 1mg twice weekly patch by Mylan for the last 6 years for post menopausal symptoms and to prevent osteoporosis. The pharmacy changed to a different generic patch which my body found inferior to the Mylan brand. I am also a stage four cancer patient and due to treatment also depleting my bone density as well as my post menopausal state one can understand why trying to reserve bone density is my number one priority. The pharmacy is supplying me with the Mylan brand once again and again my post menopausal symptoms are gone and my bone density test looks better than it then it did one year ago on the other generic brand. My advice would be to listen to your body it will tell you if it’s working or not. After all every woman’s body is different.Read More Read Less

Patches do not stay on. This is a lousy product. God knows how much Oestragen I'm taking by constantly replacing the patches.

I hate this patch. It doesn’t stay on more than 3 days and is so bulky.. I will ask my Dr. to switch me to what I had before- it was so much smaller, transparent and stayed on.

Taking for Gender affirming hormone therapy (GAHT). 50 year old born a male. It is easy to apply and stays on, I have used rite aid and cvs brands. side effect lint gathers around edges of patch but guess that is a necessary evil to get estrogen into my body. I wear 2 patches changes 2 times a week. My skin is a lot softer.

This patch does not stay on, and if that isn't bad enough it causes redness and rash where the patch was placed. I have used other patches for years without any side effects, but this patch by Mylan is terrible. If you are new to hormone therapy, please know that this patch isn't typical and that there are other brands that stay on and won't cause skin pain and irritation.

Unlike other brands the Mylan is thick and will not stay on. You can wear about 2 days before they fall off. I highly recommend the other generic brands that make the thin, clear patches. Alvogen and Sandoz. For some reason my pharmacies try to push the inferior brand of Mylan on me. I can't wear them and won't pay the same price for product that doesn't work as well.

The Mylan generic is the worst “medication” I have ever taken. I have always been a proponent of generic until THIS. I was on Dotti 0.1mg & was switched to this by Express Scripts. Within 24 hours, my head sweats like crazy, the breast tenderness is horrific, vaginal changes are miserable & worst, anxiety & depression that I have ONLY experienced when I was not using estrogen has returned. I switched back to Dotti & EVERYTHING resolved for a month. Now the insurance company has argued about my date of refill!?? & i have been off Dotti for 3 days forced to use the remaining Mylan generic for 4 days & I am laying on my couch with breast pain so terrible I can’t even brush my arm against them & anxiety & feeling like I can burst into tears at any moment. It is cruel that our system is so $ driven that I have to suffer because insurance would not give my my brand patch Dotti on the day it was due. They notified me they would be “holding it.” It’s not Fentanyl people, it’s an Estrogen patch! (That is life to me!) I would have never believed this, but Im telling you Mylan feels like there’s NOTHING on this patch! I tried a different box thinking maybe it was a bad lot, but no. I am an advanced practice nurse of 30 years & know what I am talking about. I wouldn’t prescribe this generic to anyone. Check reviews on it’s ineffectiveness & you will find as I did, desperate for answers, that MANY women had this same experience. It is a travesty that women’s health for menopause is so grossly under treated & medical care is dictated by insurance company. I don’t know what they have put on this patch, but it certainly isn’t estradiol 0.1mg! Read More Read Less

Im just on my second week with the Estradiol patch and already have lessened symptoms. Im sleeping through the night with little to no hot flashes as well as during the day. I have not had any problems with the patch adhering to my skin or adverse reactions. Im so happy I am using this patch.

I use the 2 patch a week .05 system and it works great. No sleepless nights, no more hot flashes and it has removed my achy joints. Not to mention my attitude has improved greatly. I’ve never had a problem with the patch falling off it works great.

Having servere perimenopause symptoms. This patch has been a life saver. Starts coming off after a day or so so have to use tape and gives me some redness but nothing severe.

My Rx was changed to The Mylan brand estrogen patch after I relocated out of state and changed insurance as well as pharmacies and after being on Climara for over a year with no issues. The Mylan brand was crap. They fell off after 3-5 days, supposed to wear them for 7. By day two my skin was completely red and rashed out more than 5" in diameter under the patch no matter where I put them. I had to used these for 4 weeks until my doctor, pharmacy and insurance could get it together and put me back on the Climara brand. Needless to say, the first patch rash from 4 weeks ago is still to a point that I am putting Benadryl on it 3-5 times a day, taking a benadryl pill at night and using an ice pack several times a day!! I have never had a rash for 4 weeks from one allergy!!Read More Read Less

I was switched to Lyllana generic for 100mcg twice-weekly. According to the insert, it only delivers full dosage for 1.5 days. For the last day it is roughly 1/3 of full dosage. How is it not fraud to market this as a 100mcg equivalent, when it doesn’t deliver anywhere near that dosage most of the time?

Interesting, so many people complaining of the Mylan patch not staying on. I had a much better time with the mylan Patch (even in hot steamy summer months) than this ridiculous Vivelle patch. Talking with my doctor to switch me BACK to Mylan. Maybe my alien skin is different than typical earth female skin? also, The "Change of Life Signs" as the reason for taking medication? Maybe we can enter the 21st century and call it Perimenopause/Menopause symptoms

I have only been on the Estalis 50/140 patch for two weeks. To be fair I expected to have issues with it staying on so I just taped over it from the start. I has helped with my night sweats but on the down side it has not helped at all with the fatigue, my migraines seem to be coming back and to make matters worse, I have started bleeding again. I told my doctor that was a straight out No for me so I plan to quit them after my next consult.

Ladies, if the Mylan once-weekly, giant, patch is not staying on, talk to your doctor about using the twice weekly patch because it is less than a 1/3 the size and made from a very thin, transparent, material. I didn’t even know this existed until I switched doctors. It stays put and doesn’t smell. I’m an athlete (and therefore drenched in sweat pretty frequently) and the once weekly patch was just stupidly ridiculous to try and keep on, not to mention about as sexy as a jar lid stuck on the “location-of-the-week”! I couldn’t EVER get it to stick to my butt, which meant I could only alternate between sides of my lower abdomen, so I always had scabby, irritated skin. No more! Make the switch. You’ll be glad you did!Read More Read Less

This patch is TERRIBLE have been on a TDS patch for over 5 years. The other generic I used was great. The only way I got this is that the pharmacy did not carry the brand I always used. It did not stay on and others have the same complaint. Correct the problem the outside is like moles skin, makes you break out, itch and falls off. Who wants to keep their patch on with tape?

Patch has caused rashes and itching. My migraines are back to daily since I started the patch. Calling dr to see what I can take instead. I didn't want to switch to the patch but had to because Insurance reviewers felt it was a better fit for me. Ridiculous.
