can i take this with tegretol

I have experienced debilitating headaches for more than 30 years. They don't fall under any specific headache classification, ie: migraine, tension, cluster, etc. The only med that has consistantly made my headaches tolerable is fiorinal (generic). I have been given everything from narcotics to who-knows-what but always I end up with fiorinal and, therefore, less pain.

It helps get rid of my headache. If it doesn't I don't care that I have a headache.

You have to take it before the pain starts or it is inefective. Prep before is time consuming... on full stomach, drink 8 oz water, wait f0 minutes before sleeping.

Before taking this med, my headaches would escalate to the migraine stage,accompanied by nausea. I missed work and social engagements because the headaches were incapacitating. With one tablet of fiorinal (generic) my headache is gone. I have used this med (only one or two tabs a month) since 1980 with no side effects at all. Have not missed a day of work due to headache since taking the med.

I have had cluster/tension headaches for the past 40 yrs. Tried many drugs over the yrs. Have taken fiorinal for more than ten yrs. with much relief. No side effects.

I have epilepsy and get migraines on a regular basis. I tried treximet and quit after the first dose because i had every basic side effect you could get from it. I was switched to this by my doctor because my fiance also takes it and recommended it. Not a single side effect. pain goes away with in the hour and i can go on with my life. and it doesnt have acetaminophen which makes me sick to my stomach, so this was great. :)

This drug has helped me get rid of tension headaches on a number of occaisions. It does tend to make me slightly drowsy, but still allows me to function normally.

Did nothing for the migraine

I agonized for hours. Took 4 in 8 hours. No relief.

this medication made my heart rate real slow! even though the hospital new of my medical condition!

I have migranes that link one to the next for weeks at a time, and have found that taking this drug within the first 48 hours causes these chain headaches to end within a much shorter period of time. The current headache doesn't always go away but within a day or so the pain will go away and the vessels shrink back to normal. If taken after the first 48 hours this drug doesn't seem to have much of an effect.

I have had these headaches for as long as I can remember, then ER dr. put me on this med. I was thrilled at finally relief! I would recommend this treatment for anyone!
