I've been taking 200mg a day for almost 6 years. The one thing Zoloft has done is level my emotional state over the years and give me a clearer outlook on life. I have had no side effects while on the drug and take no other medication to treat depression and anxiety. I know I'm on a very high dose, but it has made a significant difference in my life. I was taking Wellbutrin for a whi ... Show Full Comment

I've been on Zoloft for about two months now, and I absolutely hate it. I'm a 5'5 120 lb female who started out on 25mgs, and eventually increased to 50mgs about a month later. Zoloft has made it to where I don't sleep for about 24 hours, then sleep for 14 hours, which is very inconvenient for everyone in my household. I break down hysterically sobbing for absolutely no reason, at ... Show Full Comment

I have been taking Zoloft for 4 months and things are going great. I was taking Lexapro and it wasn't working for me, but I was in denial to realize it. I was sleeping all the time. & now being switched to Zoloft my boyfriend say he's dating a different woman. I'm never tired during the day. Don't have any side effects. All in all things are perfect on the medicine.

I have been on Zoloft for around 11 yrs. I went to the doctor straight from having a panic attack at work (crying, sad, overwhelming emotions) Dr. Asks have you been like this for more than two weeks? I said Yes, I've been like this my Whole Life! It has really helped me, I believe it one of only SSRIs that Don't Make You Gain Weight. It has slowed my sex drive, but it is fine as mine has ... I started taking this med when a severe illness ultimately cost me my job, and the feelings of dispair, inability to earn my living and a shakey support system made life pretty bad. My MD suggested Zoloft. The starting dose was way too high so we backed off to 100mg a day. I know many feel that 100 is even a high dose, but it worked For me. I've been on a 100-150mg dose for 10 years (depends o ... Show Full Comment
