I'm 16 and I've dealt with cystic acne since I was 13, but about a year ago my chin started breaking out severely. I was prescribed this cream and began using it every night. I was absolutely furious to find that it dried my face out so much that my face was beat red and peeling. It was really painful, so I stopped using for a week and went straight to applying large amounts of lotion to m ... Show Full Comment

I have suffered from acne since I was about 15. Always cystic with some more shallow occasionally. I have tried every wash, mask, antibiotic, and even accutane when I was 17(made me lose a significant amount of my hair and cleared my skin for about a year). For the past year and a half, I have been using tretinoin and cycling through Septra occasionally. This has worked for my skin. I no longer ha ... Show Full Comment

This cream destroyed my skin. I would have several new cysts every week and it made my skin so dry, my entire face would be red. Used for 4 months and saw absolutely no improvement, plus worsening of my acne. I know many people have seen success with this medication, but it is not for everyone.

I have been using Tretinoin Cream 0.025% for 6 weeks now, and have seen a huge improvement in my acne and overall complexion. While most people say that their skin is almost 100% clear by week 6, I've been using a much weaker concentration so it's taken a bit longer. Most people say they get very dry, peely skin and bad breakouts in the first 2 weeks, but I never experienced dryness and h ... Show Full Comment

I started using this product about a month and half ago. I have noticed results in the texture of my skin, it is more smooth and tight, but I am still breaking out, and left with the dark marks. I know I am some what new to this product, and I do not want to give up but how much longer until I experience no more breakouts? Help.
