the 2nd PE I had I started bleeding internally about a month after I left the hospital. I had emergency surgery and had to stay in the hospital for 8 days. It seems hard to get my levels correct and I have to keep going in for blood tests. It took 6 months every going every week for level checks. It is frustrating and once again this summer it has been hard to get the right level.

I was given Coumadin oral in the hospital because of afib. I stay dizzy, kinda disoriented at times, swelling, bloated, just to name some of my side effects. I don't like this drug because I can feel the changes in my body.

I go to have my blood taken every week and my doctor gets the results the next day. Since I have been on it we have not been able to keep me stable on the medication. Its been hard watching what I eat and making sure not to miss a dose.
