I was given this Rx because I had pimple-like lesions on both sides of my face at the temple area. My Dr. said he didn't know what this was, but gave me this Rx.Desonide. Said he thought it was caused by nerves. I had some relief at first, but the skin condition came back. He still doesn't know what it is. I am on Tetracycline now. He says it isn't Rosacia?(sp), but is going to treat it like that's what it is...??? It dries up some when I wash w/ Selsun Blue shampoo. My primary Dr. thought it was inflamation of the hair follicles I went to this recent Dr after that, who is a Dermatologist...for a second opinion. He said to use the Selsun Blue. These breakouts don't have any pus or fluid in them. I picked and scratched at them at first. This made them worse. I have stopped the Desonide since he put me on the Tetracycline. I have taken it about 5 days now... Really the Selsun Blue has helped more than anything. I told Derm. I washed my hair w/ it and also the sides of my face where the breakouts are. It dries them up pretty well. They don't itch or burn, they're just kinda "Out there", and bothersome. Guess I'll just keep taking the T. til next week when I go back for a follow-up. I had been using Prednicarbate, 0.1%. Desonide is much more effective

My son has allergies to just about everything - he is always covered in hives or some sort of rash. And usually with in 24 hours of using this lotion it is cleared up and he is a much happier baby.

I had clear skin growing up so after being diagnosed with adult acne on my face by a dermatologist, I had to have this cleared immediately. (it was due to stress) He gave me this prescription along with a pill. I ended getting this in lotion form and I used it twice in one day(as prescribed) and literally woke up the next day almost completely clear! My face before the lotion was completely covered in acne and itched like crazy. This lotion is wonderful; it is very moisturizing, doesn't smell and I didn't suffer from any of the possible side effects. Whenever I am stressed out (and that is often), I break out on a rash on my upper lip. I need to use it at least weekly. I have been on it for years. It calms the flare ups.

My 7 month old son had patches on his cheeks; after just one day of use (2 applications), the red patches cleared-up! My only concern is the discoloration of his skin, which is supposed to be temporary. It seems as though it bleached his skin...no longer red, but now pasty-white. We'll take the white for the time being since it looks like it feels much better to him.

This medication was awesome!!! My sun-allergy rash was gone within 48 hours of using the medication. I saw results within the=at same day. The only problem I have with the medication is the smell. The smell is a little strong. However, the results were fantastic!!

After seeing 6 different doctors I finally found a P.A. that actually investigated my symptoms and visual affliction. This drug worked wonders, especailly after the doctors kept prescribing me medications that made the symptoms MUCH WORSE.

My 7 year old son has a skin condition. He was prescribed the Desonide Cream by his dermatologist. I applied the cream before bedtime and when my son awoke the next morning both of his eyes where swollen. But...I also have a skin condition on my hand, and after applying the cream it worked fine.

This medication is very effective. After about 3 days my skin was blemish free. My first dermatologist was treated me for the wrong thing. Glad I changed and found something that worked.

Eliminated redness and thickening of skin on nose and under both eyes. It is one of the few lotions that have had any effect on this condition.

It seemed to diminish the rash under my chin a little, but it never went away completely. Months later the rash is still there despite using the ointment.
