Zantac is awesome! I haven't found a medication better than Zantac for my heartburn and acid reflux. I highly recommend it!

Was actually taking Nexium in morning and Zantec at night, but said I should stop Nexium as it will causemore bone loss, so now I am taking Zantec twice a day. I buy at warehouse store and it costs much less and best of all, it seems to work.

I tried it for 8 mos. Nausia, ringing in the ears, and didn't work. I am back on prilosec. I bite the tablets in half. Works great and only half the risk of side efects. 1|2 pill of prilosec works great!

I am not taking this medication, but wonder if anyone who has given it to an infant could comment any side effects, personal experience with this medication in infants, etc. My daughter sought the help of a lactation consultant and the lactation consult. thinks my grand daughter needs this medicine. I have definite concerns about giving any medication to a 8 week old infant. Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.

Very effective with heartbuRn and indigestion. However the side effect of constipation was more than I could handle. I took one tablet and was constipated for 3 days.

After being on Nexium/Prevacid and etc. They don't seem to work at night time. Thought to try something that reduces acid. It is working well.

I took Prilosec for a couple of years. Severe muscle and back pain. I didn't know why. I take zantac 150 twice a day. Works well but with mild nausia. The other meds are scary. This is the safest and best bet.

I have wrestless leg syndrome and taking this medication made my legs and arms go nuts. I have had insomnia for 2 months. Stopped taking and now I can sleep again.

This was prescribed for prolonged daily use (longer than 14 days) and resulted in long term side-effects which continued after discontinuing medication, including swelling in feet/ankles/legs, sinus headaches, weight gain, pH imbalances in digestive tract, changes in stool (flutucating from diarrhea to constipation). While I would definitely not recommend prolonged use, it did seem to work for the short-term. In my case, medication should been discontinued early or prescribed for a short duration only.Read More Read Less

I had to start taking it due to my attacks due to stomache ulcers. After taking it I no longer have my very painful attacks. I used to have them at least 4 times a month now that I am taking this drug I have them maybe once every 2 months which is a very huge change in my life. Zantac Oral is a very good drug I do not have to change me eating habits as long as I stay on my daily dosage regimen. It has really worked wonders for me.I also have severe acid reflux disease and it helps with that alot as well and it keeps me from having to take several medications for my medical problems this one pill takes the place of 3 I would have to take daily for my medical problems 1 pill 3 times a day is alot easier to take than 3 pills 3 times daily. I from personal experience highly reccomend this drug to anyone who has Acid Reflux Disease and/or Stomache Ulcers.Read More Read Less

These tablets are now impossible to buy in UK and GP's say they are too expensive to give on prescription. They are invaluable for quick fix or neutralising acid reflux. Why are they not available anymore?
