After trying just about every over the counter cream pain relief, a friend suggested that I try this one. It has saved me from a lot of miserable nights. Starting at my spine, down to my hip and all the way to my foot. It aches, throbs and hurts so badly that I can not stand it. I rub it in and it works quickly. I also had burning. Skin turned bright red. The medication had no warning on the bottle. They really should take it off the market. Terrible

Do not get it on tender skin like the stomach because it will burn. However, I use it on my back, hip, thigh, knee, calf and foot. I came online to see where I can buy it. I can't be without it ever again since I have arthritis and had back surgery last year. The pain meds do not help this problem but this cream does. Wash your hands twice with a good soap like Dial and use a brush to get underneath your nails if you have one. Do not touch your eyes or they will burn. If so, use eye drops or eye wash over and over a few times to help with that. If you think it does not work, give it a try of about a week as the label suggest that it be used about 3 times a day and may not work if not used so. I only use it at night and it works for me.Read More Read Less

WHAT A DISASTER! Should have tried on a small area but put on my neck for muscle pain. Burned like fire! Called the pharmacist did what she said and is working. 1) wash off with H2O, do not use soap! 2) Get burn jell on it a.s.a.p. (Lidocaine HCL 2.5%), reapply. 3) Put zinc oxide ointment and or A&D ointment. We are at stage 2 but have not used #3. Fire felling went down to a level 6 in 5-10 and redness 80% gone in 30 min. Hope this helps. A WARNING LABEL SHOULD BE ON THE FRONT OF EVERY PRODUCT!!!. Hope this info helps...God bless.Read More Read Less

I have tried this product and really, really worked for me. Remember to read the 'instructions" before you use it.

Anyone who gave it a bad review has no idea how this stuff works. I have an ankle sprain that causes pain when it's cold. This product lets me walk up and down stairs in the cold without issue. THIS IS NOT EASY TO USE. Sure you just put it on but for the first few applications it burn, a lot. Not that it does damage, as I like hot sauce and know how to to do rudimentary research I was not surprised by the effect. After about a week the burning stopped on application and the pain was gone. Great stuff. I cannot stress enough that you don't want this in your eyes or lungs. This is essentially pepper spray and has the same active ingredient, capsaicin.Read More Read Less

The only downside I have encountered is getting the medicine on my lips or eyes because I use it on my hand. I apply with a glove, but the residue at times lingers. It has improved my pain greatly, allowing greater range of motion. I only use one application every week or so.

Do not use...I too had severe burning. Up with the pain from the burning of this product. I applied Rx only hydrocortisone cream that I had on hand and it did give me relief. If you don't have this try over the counter hemmoride cream. Throwing this product in the garbage. Very dangerous.

The burning is almost unbearable. No matter what I do I cannot get it to stop. The skin the medicine came in contact with is extremely sensitive to touch now. I'll keep the pain associated with my injury. It hurt less than this burning does.

I love this medication. I have osteoarthritis in the knee and this is the only medication that works. It does burn for a couple of days but if you can get through that, it's very effective. I thought it was alittle pricey but it's worth it.

My husband and I have both used the Walgreens brand of Capsaicin 0.1%. In 12 hours or less we both experienced extreme discomfort and burning. Washed it off using dish liquid as the instructions said and then applied aloe gel. That is the only way we could tolerate the burning. Will never use again. Wish we could get our money back.

People, it's made from freakin' chili peppers, of course it's going to burn. I've had chronic back pain for years and have seen more doctors than a Munchausen patient. I've been on Norco, Tramadol, oxycodone, you name it, all of which helped the pain but never fully got rid of it. The capsaicin helps a lot at removing the pain that the pain killers miss. For me, I'll take the burning sensation over my back pain.

I have suffered with back pain for years. I recently started using capsaicin sheets to eliminate the pain. I have very sensitive skin. Most topical medications cause hives. Capsaicin has been a god send for me.

I have pain in my hands and used Salonpas pads. It caused a lot of discomfort during the day and night. I tried them at bedtime and couldn't sleep because of the pain it caused. Hard to sleep when all I can concentrate on is discomfort. I wasted my money.

OMG! I had shingles three years ago but still have the pain and had knee replacement 5 months ago. Yesterday I decided to try capsaicin just the lowest strength. Rubbed my side and knee and within an hour I was on fire like I had never felt before. Still have cold compresses on this morning. I can't imagine using the stronger one. This should be off the market it is dangerous!!

I put this OTC product on my hands 24 hrs ago. It burns so bad, I can't get anything to make it stop. I don't like spicy foods at all. I think that fact makes it worse for me than others. I only wish I would of researched it first.

I have diabetic nerve pain in my feet and the heat from this product feels good in comparison to the 24 hour a day burning & pain when I don't use it.

It was recommended by my diabetes clinic for intense itching on my feet, mostly at night. I was told this is often the result of neuropathy from diabetes. I tried it and though it did feel rather warm, I certainly preferred the warmth to the intense itching. I didn't realize it was neuropathy at first, as everything I had read referred to PAIN, nothing said regarding ITCHING. I do have a fairly high pain threshold, but would think there a definite difference between "pain" and "itching. I only used this a few times and the itching has almost entirely disappeared -- the occasional minor itching is bearable. Read More Read Less

It has been 14 hrs. since I applied it to a few fingers that have been really hurting from arthritis. My fingers were burning after I applied it. Took a shower 14 hrs. later and now my hand is burning. I will not use this product again. Glad I didn't use it anywhere else.

I used this product on my shoulder and neck area...it immediately started to burn my skin...then accidently touched my lip...and eye lid...on fire. Couldn't wash it off. Tried a cold shower and just burned more...wasted $10. It will never touch my body again.

I'm not a whip at all. I used it 1 time & never again! The EXTREME BURNING is almost unbearable & after 12 hours its worse than the 1st hour! NOTHING will remove it from my legs and hands. I agree 100% with other viewers that this product is dangerous and should be either by prescription or OFF the market! I shudder to think of a child using this!!
