Started taking Diclofenac 75 mg EC twice a day for shoulder pain. It not only eliminated my shoulder pain, I no longer have knee pain and even my bunion is less bothersome! After about 3 weeks, I thought I would reduce to once a day and then stop taking it altogether, but the pain in my knees and shoulders quickly returned. I will call my doctor and see if I can get a refill and ask if he shoul...
Doesn't stop the pain at all. Gives me indigestion at night so bad I can't sleep. Makes me constipated. All in all, I don't like this drug and won't take it anymore. I've tried twice and that was enough for me!

I was using Dhydrocodine amongst other prescription drugs that I take for numerous conditions I am currently experiencing, but I was still experiencing a lot of pain, so I asked my GP if he could prescribe something a little stronger, he prescribed Diclofenic I am a little disappointed as I do not find this drug very effective

Could not function daily without it. Would loose manual dexterity in hands and arms, also helps even after (3) joint replacements.

Bit scary how well it worked, dialing back time so that with remarkable range of movement I can do things I wasn't able to do a half hour before I took it.

My pain and inflammation are so much better since I started taking diclofenac. I'm now able to do the simplest little things..button a blouse without pain.

After several tries of other NSAIDS for my Ankylosing Spondylitis, my rheumatologist settled on this medication. It seemed to work for awhile, but gradually my pain and symptoms have "broken through" the medication. My rheumatologist has not really taken my pain and mobility symptoms seriously, and now 7 years into my diagnosis and 39 years after the AS started my pain is so intense at times that I don't know how I even function. So I was somewhat satisfied at first when the medication was working for me. But now it is no longer working, and I have been referred to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota to hopefully have a determination if the chronic fevers (daily!) I am running are due to an infection or the inflammatory process of the AS. The first doctor I saw at the Mayo Clinic is concerned that the Diclofenac has caused damage to my digestive tract. I have now undergone a series of tests to take a look at this issue, to see if this might also be contributing to the fevers. (In addition to multiple other tests.) I won't know the answer to this question for a few weeks yet.Read More Read Less

The diclofenac tablets have to be used in combination with antacid tablets like Ranitidine. Otherwise it causes bleeding and cramps.
