I have been on Vicoprofen for a few years now for Migraines, Kidney Stones. I feel it works alot better then Extra Strength Vicodin. I take the 7.5 200 strength. It doesnt upset my stomach like the tylenol did with the Vicodin. If you do get a upset stomach I recommend eat before you take the med. But sometimes doing so lessens the effect of the Vicoprofen. so taking a anti-nausea med will prevent...
this med does make you feel weird , not doappy or tied but just wierd, I can not describe the feeling, over all differnet you could function on this mediction.

For me too sometime the 200 ibuprofen sometimes is not enough so I will take a advil with it. My dr says that is okay to do. the Ibuprofen is mostly used as a antinflammatory. TOOK FOR PAIN FROM A TOOTH ABCESS, WORKED WELL. ALSO HAVE HAD A LOT OF DISCOMFORT FROM A TENDON REPAIR I HAD DONE 2 YEARS AGO THAT'S A LONG STORY THOUGH WON'T GO INTO. I HAVE ONLY TAKEN 2 PILLS AND MY ANKLE NO LONGER HURTS AND I AM WALKING NORMAL. FORGOT HOW THAT FELT. BUT THE ONLY THING IS IT REALLY KNOCKS ME OUT. TIRED ALL THE TIME. I take this medication for MS pain and spine pain. It does help me sleep for atleast 4 hours - before I am up again with the pain (4 hours more than I was getting prior to this drug). I currently am on a low dose, I'll let you know if a higher dose helps or not.
