I was in the US and tried Synthroid, Levothyroxine, and Armour. I had horrible, horrible side effects. Once I moved to Turkey, I started on Euthyrox and wow what an improvement. First thing to go was my brain fog and sense of unrealism and I could finally feel alive again. It took about 2 years for my body to stabilize on it, but none of the side effects were nowhere near as bad as Synthroid or Le...

I have been taking Euthyrox for about 4 months now. I experience tiredness and weight gain. Dull headaches dizziness. I see this drug has been recalled in USA. I would appreciate your comments on this

I still have a weight problem without my diet but I feel alot better on this medication as to when I was not on it. I now notice a swelling in my throat at night and slight dizziness. I am 7 months pregnant on a 75mg dosage but that's about all I experience.

My levels went back to "normal", but the medication caused me to be on a sick-leave for 3 weeks due to the following symptoms: extreme sensitivity to warm areas, really bad nausea, dizziness, pressure in ears, headaches, sweating, shaking, constant hunger, extreme muscle fatigue (especially in legs), stool 3x or more per day (almost diarrhea) and most of all absolutely unexplained ANXIETY. Never again, thank you.

I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and was told to keep an eye on it, wasn't treated. I tried alternative methods to try improve my THS numbers (avoiding gluten & soy& uncooked cruciferous vegetables, changing to organic shampoo and organic handwash at home), but when I fell pregnant my doctor decided to treat with Euthyrox. At first the side effects were hard as I imagine my body was suddenly flooded with extra hormones and I started really feeling the symptoms of the first trimester of pregnancy. Which I guess is a good thing. I am more or less stable now, check my thyroid levels once a month.Read More Read Less

First thing to go was my brain fog and sense of unrealism and I could finally feel alive again. It took about 2 years for my body to stabilize on it, but none of the side effects were nowhere near as bad as Synthroid or Levo. Side effects were a bit backwards with me, feeling tired when I was actually hyper, stuff like that, they were so insignificant compared to Synthroid side effects that I almost didn't know my levels were off. You have to get tested every few months in the begging. The dose may go up and down for a bit, but will eventually level out. I sent my mom some in the US and she loves it too. She had the same problem adjusting to the meds, but loves it so much. I have to send her the meds from Turkey because I don't think the sell it in the US and I have no idea why. My palpitations are gone, even though I still had them for a bit while adjusting to the meds, they weren't as scary as the palpitations I had with the other meds. No more anxiety, diarrhea, tremors, night time muscle cramps, feeling like Im on acid or some crazy drug, hair thinning, confusion, forgetfulness, muscle twitching, cold and heat intolerance, ( I could go on for days with the side effects the other drugs gave) Seriously, this medicine is awesome compared to the stuff they are selling in the US. I guess the US can't make money with Euthyrox because they can't prescribe additional meds for all those side effects. Either or, they should still allow this to be available in the US. After total thyroidectomy, i was taking 50mcg and still has high Tsh, i was given 100mcg and resulted to a 0.02 tsh which is very low, now i am taking 75mcg which is not easy as there was no 75mcg available so i have to take one 25 and one 50. When i took 100 my sleepyness is gone, not sensitive to cold temp anymore but i experienced palpitation. Hopefully 75 will give me a better condition....will see after 3 ,omths

Havent noticed much difference since taking the medication one year ago. Only noticed weight gain and very slow bowel movement, whereas never a problem with Hyperthyroidism before. Infact after a year, I still have tremors, heart palpitations, sensitive to heat, headaches and short of breath. All signs of over active thyroid. Have now doubled the dose per day and feeling very tired and lack energy.

It should be easier to use, like once a month....the everyday dosage sometimes it's hard to remember. For everything else, it works great since I was discovered 15 years ago with Hypothyroidism.

Had regular and very bad headaches/episodes of dizziness, woke up every morning with jammed hands, lots of painful muscle spasms, tingling feeling in feet, arms and hands before starting taking (rather sceptically) Euthyrox. In a few days all the symptoms vanished completely - I never missed a dose since then!
