I've never had a yeast infection before until I got pregnant. Doctor recommended Monistat 7. Burned bad on first use, 2nd was mild, 3rd I barely felt it. Put an ice pack over cloth for relief if painful. The infection has cleared up tremendously. If you can endure the first use (assuming you've used it correctly), you'll be satisfied with the results. So much intense itching and burning. The first night was torture and I was thinking the 2nd would be better but it was WORSE. I have never experienced itching and burning so intense. DO NOT USE

I know everyone's body is different. The first two times I had a yeast infection, Monistat was my choice. It worked very well for me and it was a success. Recently I woke up with a yeast infection after like 3 years. So I got monistat yesterday and when I first insert it. it was itching me a lot!! it calmed down after an hour and today since I was home I inserted the 2nd one and I feel so much ... I'm surprised by all the bad reviews. This worked like a charm for me. Last night was day 5 of the 7 day treatment and this morning I don't feel like I really need to finish the tube of cream. - Perhaps my body chemistry is more compatible than others.
