I lost 32 pounds in 3 months on this pill. Although I had excessive sweating, urinated more often, face and nose stayed flush and very dry mouth that would lead to my tongue drying out so bad it would burn and itch. Has anyone else had these symptoms? Also, my Dr. would not let me take them no more than 3 months because the very high risk of damaging your heart. Why are so many other Dr's le ... I started out at a 258 lbs in June, at about 37 BMI, and have lost 50 lbs to date (so 50 lbs in 6.5 mos). You don't even think about food.. I have to remind myself to get nutrition. I keep cals within 1200/day and exercise at least 3x/wk (usually walk on treadmill 2.5-3mph for 45 mts). Does not make me wired, cause insomnia, etc whatsoever. Amazing stuff. I took this drug for one month in August of 2007. The first week I never thought about eating. After that, it took a little effort on my part, but very little. My appetite was much smaller the entire month on the drug. I lost 15 pounds that month. I just started taking it again, 3 days ago. Again, I do not even think about eating.
