This cleared up my sinus infection, but with terrible side effects. I experienced anxiety, depression, vivid nightmares, and one auditory hallucination. I also experienced extreme irritability. I was unable to finish the whole course due to the side effects, but my infection was cleared by then. I will not take this medication again.

Side effects made this a terrible choice despite what appears to be an improvement in sinus infection. I echo others who have noted severe impact to psychological well being. I too thought I was losing my mind. Sleepless nights in a recliner, restless. Was already traumatized from a severe nose bleed and trip to ER prior to an ENT referral then this RX prescribed. After 1 week of treatment I still have a lot of drainage and cough. Terrible taste in mouth and appears to have dimenished the effects of estrogen patches. I'm having almost continuous hot flashes.

The effectiveness is good but Ive been having problems sleeping and my mood swings are terrible. I noticed the mood swings right away and the insomnia just kind of crept up on me. All in all the drug has worked so far.

This medicine has caused severe stomach upset in my son and the taste and smell is horrific. He gags when he takes it and has vomited several times. I recommend more than crackers and milk like I was told by the doctor. We always made sure he was full before we gave him this - that seemed to help a little. It worked great on the infection but I will not use it again unless there is no other choice.

Sinus infection appears to be better. At least the yellow/green color is gone. Drainage is still here. Still got a slight sore throat and a slight ear ache. Apparentlly I had ulcers in between the stomach and the small intestins and it took care of those (It amaized me that Ulcers are caused by a bacteria so all that pain is gone). Still have 2 days to go on a 10 day RX so I am hoping it will take care of the sore throat. Over all it is a good medication.

Had my wisdom teeth out and am taking this to prevent infection; I have had zero nausea from this med, although I have noticed a slight metallic taste in my mouth and a little insomnia the first couple nights (could have been a result of discomfort from my mouth, though).
