I had a colonoscopy done and endoscope about a month ago and all pink (good) except for a little acid erosion from acid re flux!! He upped mu priliosec to 40 mg a day and told me to take this!! Now I can eat normal and feel so much better! I feel so happy!! I'm not afraid to take anything for my stomach!! anything to make it feel better!! Acid is the worst pain so belching and harmful for you. take care of your self do as prescribed. It also interferes with some other drugs and those do not work so I have to make sure those drugs are taking 2 hrs prior to this one.Read More Read Less

I have been on this med for about 3 months. It really helps but only if I take it 4 times a day which for me is hard to remember. Other than that, I would recommend it for reflux and esophgitis.

I'm using this drug to treat sever heartburn symptoms caused by excessive acid. I was also using Omeprozole. It works, but after 6 - 8 weeks, developed a skin rash on back and abdomen, and suspected sucralfate. It does work, and am trying to use it more sparingly. Mixing with water makes it easier to take.

I think it is causing nausea, no appetite and all over sick feeling and no energy. Only have one more day to take it. Should I be concerned and would these be side effects?

I have been taking this med for 6 days, and have had no relief from heartburn. Neither Omperazole nor Nexium had helped either. I find the regimen of taking 4 pills at various times difficult, my day seems to be centered around when to take the next dose, or if it is ok to eat something. I am hoping that after a bit more time, it will help.

after 8 months of nausea, stomach pain and testing I was prescribed Sucralfate. It was amazing. For the first time I was able to get out of bed, go back to work and take care of my children. It was a miracle drug for me.

This medication helps almost immediately. I had a lot of problems with my gastritis and could not get comfortable or get a full night of sleep. This has helped so much.

I have been on this medication for a few days. For the first time in years, my stomach and throat do not bother me. Oh! how good it feels. All previous medications for Acid Reflux resulted in loss of control of my bowels. This was awful --- absolutely no control. Since being on Sucralfate this condition has stopped. How great I feel, just taking 2 pills per day has given me a new lease on life.

I am 40 years old, had my gallbladder removed this year in February 2011 seems like 10 months later I started having stomach pains after I ate or drank anything so my doctor put me on this medication, I have only been on it a week and it does work very well for main meals but if I snack my stomach still hurts. I was told to take it 3 times a day 30 minutes before my meals, not a very easy thing but to keep from hurting it's worth it. The side effects are mild for the most part.

My Dr gave me this med for excessive gas and bloating. I have taken it for 2 months and find it satisfactory. The pills are difficult to swallow so I split in half and makes it much easier to take.I find it hard to get 4 in each day so I just take 3 and it seems to help
