This was prescribed to my 8 year old daughter today. I don't know how it's going to effect her. I've heard it makes people VERY sleepy. Is this true? She is supposed to take 1mg in the morning when she wakes up and then again 1mg at 4pm. This is being used to treat mood disorder, severe anger issues, and ADHD.

My 5 year old daughter was just prescribed this drug because of her severe rages and ADHD. She also has ODD, Disruptive Behavior Disorder(docs have a name for everything these days). The doc wants me to give it to her at bedtime and split the pill in half. Why give it to at bedtime if I need her to stay calm during the day?
