This is the only medication that helps my allergies without putting me to sleep. It does raise my heartbeat a bit, but when my doctor switched me to a generic of regular Allegra, it made me so sleepy that I couldn't work. It works very well and I've tried other medications such as Claritin, which gave me absolutely no relief.

I cough constantly, lost my voice, cannot sleep, and am losing weight from constant coughing, am so miserable I am getting very depressed and praying to die.

Didn't work at all to relieve the sinus congestion. My ear closes up as if on an airplane. No relief for that either.

I suffered from unexplained vertigo for several years. My ears, nose, and throat specialist finally deduced after numerous tests that I suffered from negative pressure trapped within my inner ear when the barometric pressure changed and I became congested, albeit gradually. This is the best remedy I have discovered after using numerous decongestants and antivert meds.

Allegra-D allows me to breath easy. I have a severe dust allergy, and Allergra-D is affective. However, I have taken this before a workout and my heart rate was increase afterwards and took a few hours to return to normal. I also believe I'm more Susceptible to sinus infections when I stop taking it. I also agree with another users post in regards to drinking a fair amount of water, which seems to help this medication, or at least it helps me from feeling tired on occasion.

This was given to me to treat the congestion from a sinus infection and I only took it for three days. I was up for 18 hours on the first dose. My body was tired but I was wide awake. Also my mouth and throat were so dry! Not worth the side effects!

My doctor prescribes this for my breathing because I have asthma. Works extremely well and I can tell if I forget to take it..my breathing gets labored.

I experienced dizziness for the first week or two. Every evening I experiences stomach distress until I took and over-the counter medicine to calm the effects. Not effective enough to put up with the side effects.
