I experienced severe edema and fluid leakage from my lower legs. My skin was breaking down and my calves were covered in blisters and ulcers. At hospital I was given Lasix as an IV along with antibiotics. My script was for a 20mg dose of furosemide once daily. The results were unbelievable! Within 5 days my condition was in full blown reversal. Oh, I urinated a lot...every hour or so. The fluid st...
This is the first time using this brand. I have used a different brand before that just a half pill would work immediately. This has not done a thing.

My Nephrologist prescribed this medication for me. I have swelling in my whole legs especially the ankles and feet. I have not seen any of the swelling go down. I've been using it for 3 weeks now. It seems like it's getting worse. My feet are big, stiff, with a tickling feeling. I have Lupus Nephritis stage 1

The increase in urination is unacceptable. Can't reach the bathroom in time sometimes. I feel this medication produces too strong of a response to make it acceptable. I can't leave the house until it wears off.

This med. in conjuction with my other medications dries out my mouth so much that in the morning, my teeth feel stuck to my cheeks. I have to rinse every hour throughout the day.

The effects really only work in the AM, and stop working the end of the day - when I really need it most.

Diagnosed with CHF 6 mos. after birth of last child (39 yrs old at the time). Taking this med helped save my life. Instant relief. Dosage is 40 mg daily. Amazing the amount of fluid I expel. Do suffer foot cramps - severe at times - but not willing to stop taking. Eating banana and drinking OJ everyday helps. Drinking water, not to excess, helps with dizziness.

Started taking medication after visible retention of fluids and difficulty breathing. After four months, developed gout and kidney stones. Not worth any perceived benefit.
