My doctor gave this to me for a bacteria infection. Since day one of taking it have had severe diarrhea, fevers, chills, headaches, and nausea. Stopped taking after 5 days and two days being off of it now and I still am nauseas and still diarrhea and stomach pains. Hope it goes away soon going to see a GI specialist on monday to see if there is a different problem or if its from these antibiotics ... Show Full Comment

I started taking this mediction on 5/14/12 for a UTI. Until the last two days I have done ok on it but then I noticed a red rash that is rough to the touch under each eye, at first I thought it was too much sun. Also one leg feels like the bone is being twisted. I did read that rash was a side effect and bone pain also. I only have a few days left but will still call my family dr tomorrow since he ... Was given this drug for a bladder infection. Within a minutes of taking the drug my tongue and throat became itchy, I had difficulty breathing and very severe stomach cramps :( I will never take this again!

The first time I took this medication, I took it for four days without any side affects. Then my infection was isolated and I switched to a different med. Two other times I tried taking this medication and both times I had persistent vomiting, for several hours. I would really like to know what the ingredients in it are, so that I could avoid any such exposure in the future.
