Have had at times daily migraines . Cannot take enough sumatriptan to be able to function normally, so have filled in with butalbital as needed. Works every time and is much easier on my 68-year-old system than the triptans. Generally on tablet knocks out the pain, two doses at most. No side effects except minor itches if I take 4 or more at 6-hour intervals.

I absolutely live by this. I am so happy that I don't have to worry about migraines when having this medication handy. My migraines always start when I first wake up and once I wake up I take my medication and BAM I swear it helps instantly!!! :)
