WORKS VERY WELL. HOWEVER I AM PRESCRIBED VICODIN 10 325, MAKING ME CONCERNED ABOUT HIGH LEVELS OF ACETAMINOPHEN. I HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS. MY VA PHYSICIAN RECENTLY CUT MY DAILY MAX TO 2 PER DAY, AND MY HEADACHES ARE MURDER AT TIMES WITH THIS DOSAGE. MY VA PHYSICIAN REFUSES TO INCREASE MY DOSAGE TO THE RECOMMENDED DOSAGE... UGH

Had migraine headache for years. Changed doctors when my old doctor retired 3 years ago. The new doctor recommended Fioricet...took 1 and in 20 minutes it was gone and in 1 hour felt great..no side effects.....

headache went away. It felt like a couple stiff drinks.

I am unable to get a good nights rest with this medication, possibly because of the caffine. any suggestions?

Helped but still have a sever headache. Normal CAT scan, no prior migraines and no stress.

I was prescribed this medication when I was pregnant and had terrible migraine headaches. I have always suffered from them, and treating them during pregnancy was a nightmare. Thankfully, this med works great pregnant or not! I only have to take 1 pill. The second best part, I do not have any side effects. I do not feel euphoric, drowsy, or any other side effect. It's pretty much the perfect headache medicine for me.

As far as the headache migraines are concerned it works great. Now comes the side effects that make satisfaction near zero. I guess it depends on the person but this med gave me the biggest longest case of nausea diarrhea and stomach burn I ever had. Literally could not eat anything other than bread and soda crackers for several months till we figured out it was this med that was causing it

I suffer with migraines that take away my sight, hearing and paralyze me on a daily basis. As a result I suffer from TGA as well. I take as many of these pills as allowed and they are no help. I not sure that they aren't placebos

I really thus effect for my my migranes, tried many other things and very happy with this!!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Finally a medication that takes away the migraine fast and doesn't leave me loopy or drowsy.

This medicine has been very helpful for my migraines I get. I was relieved when I was finally prescribed something that worked and that worked fast.

This medicine has been like a miracle cure to me. After years of just "suffering through" I finally decided to ask my doctor about my options. This medicine is what he prescribed. Not only dose taking 1-2 pills quickly relieve my pain, but I suffer no side effects from them.

After suffering most of my life and taking every type of drug known, Butalb 50/325 two capsules every four hours as soon as I even thought a migraine was coming on, did the trick. It never "drugged" me out like Percocet and the like. I am finally taking 30 specific Botox shots in my scalp, face and shoulders. Instead of having a migraine nearly on a daily basis, I have had two in six months. The shots are given to me in three month interval and because I have such a history of migraine headache, my insurance company approved these shots. My neurologist gives them to me with very tiny needles so the pain is small compared to a migraine. If I feel one come on before the next series, I reach for my Butalb....I'm tired of week long migraines!!Read More Read Less

I find that this helps me tremendously and it does ease my tension. Very effective and fast working. I would never use a narcotic as they are very addictive. Easy to use. Worth a try if you have tension headaches as I do a lot. I do get sleepy during the day on occasions and have not tried to use them for a sleep aide at night. Always take these on a full stomach to alleviate sleepiness.

This medicine was new to me when my previous narc was discontinued. I was resistant to change since that had worked for over 20 yrs. However, I can now see how this actually helps to relive the pain immediately, but it doesn't make me sleepy. In fact, I am wired but can't move due to the pain and I want to sleep in most cases. I just had to call for my new RX after experiencing 4 days of migraines in 1 week. 1-3 pills a day does the trick for me, depends on the severity of the pain.

This immediately takes my headaches away. I do suffer from rebounds, which is why I take more. I don't always think it helps rebounds and now I am scared because I feel I am addicted. I take about 6 pills a day. I think it is way too much. it affects my mood and while its helps my headaches, I am worried it isn't worth it. I don't know what to do.
