This medicine was prescribed for my 6 month old at time for bronchitis and I decided to take it for myself for bronchitis. I will never use this medicine again. After I took it, I started shaking extremely and my heart started beating real fast. Also, I started getting hot and coughing to the point of vomiting.

Gave to my nine year old daughter. She had pretty serious side effects...shaking, nervousness, rapid heartbeat, headache and she then threw up. Now she says her arms are weak and falling asleep. She said she felt like she was coming undone. I will NOT give it to her again.

This medication was given to my 6 week old daughter to treat a cough. I dont know if I should continue giving it to her the side effects are really bad. I contacted an on call doctor and they said they side effects were normal. She hasnt slept in days and whats even more scary her legs shake and shes looks really scared.

I am 48 yrs old have taken for one week. I really can't say it has helped but it makes me naustious and jittery. I have not been able to sleep for 5 days. I am going to stop taking as of today. The side effects arn't worth it.

My son who is 7 weeks old was given it by his doctor and it caused him to have tremors really bad to the point that we took him to the hospital. I was very freaked out about him shaking. Personally I will never give it to him again!

This medication worked for my 2 year old BUT it made him highly irritable and hyperactive. My 2 year old is now 6 years old and sometimes I still have to use this medication, like when he gets a cold and it stil has the same impact. He becomes highly sensitive and very hard for him to focus (especially in school). What can I do? Nothing really. I just let the teacher know about the medication and also try to bring it to his attention when he is being over active. It is a good thing he does not have to take it everyday.Read More Read Less
