I was prescribed this a little over a year ago for OCD, severe anxiety, and at first I was not able to function for about 2 wks, but my dr. kept telling me it would get better and it did for awhile. I have taken this medication for 3 years. I basically have no more anxiety. I even found my self-confidence. My doctor said that this medication is for before or in a panic attack because it works fast, but it dose not last long, so you have to work at staying calm once your calm.
