For Adult ADD - I've just had issues with getting the ideal dosing schedule with this. Has made me stop taking my SSRI, and feel like I accomplish things. Was taking 20mg XR once daily, then twice daily, but due to price, went to plain. Seems to work longer than XR. But through discussions with my dr, we've decided to do the 20mg plain, and depending on how I feel, can take a 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 ... Show Full Comment

I'm 20 and in my first year of college. I was diagnosed with ADD in 6th Grade for my lack of ability to concentrate, I was/am quite the day dreamer. The Doc put me on 5mg Adderall XR I believe. My freshman year the dose was increased to 10mg. I was taking this for ADD without hyperactivity. It seemed to help at first, I was concentrating better, keeping up with tasks, and getting more things done. However, I'm also being treated for depression, and after only a few weeks I started noticing the symptoms of my depression coming back.
