My son is 7 and has been taking this for about 6 months. the first month was rough because he was getting used to the drug. the next few weren't too bad, he was on 10 mg. we upped it to 15 because it wasn't lasting as well as we liked, and now he is having trouble sleeping.

Ive taken Adderall since I was 9. For me it made it much easier to pay attention and complete tasks.. it makes everything seem so "interesting." I made much better grades in school. I was organized and well behaved. AS far as ADHD symptom, it pretty much eliminated them. However, Adderall has some side effects. All though this medication did work effectively, I started developing ticks and I started hallucinating from it because it lowered my blood pressure. I was 6 at the time, and I was "picking apples" off my living room couch when my mom walked in.
