I was prescribed Cipro for a prostate infection, but after reading about some possible complications, I asked my doctor for an alternative. He prescribed SMZ + TP. I took this drug for sinusitis & epidimitis. It worked well except for the side effects. I developed thrush of the tongue and gums which made eating, speaking, swallowing, and chewing painful. This Drug should be taken off the market. The cure is worse than the dease. Upset stomach, tired,tired , tired, depressed developed joint pain in my wrists , loss of appetite and those are just a few side effects

Have been taking meds for about a month and my stomach is so bloated and gassy I am miserable. Have had headaches dizziness and no energy. I am not sure how much longer I can deal with these side effects.

The side effects are hell!!!! I have NEVER felt this bad before. Nausea, fever, loss of appetite,rash, difficulty sleeping are the worst!!! The pharmacist had the nerve to say it wasn't the drug it was the flu!! I had a flu shot recently, it wasn't the flu!!!! I would avoid this drug at all cost!!!
