I switched to Sprintec because it was cheap! Woooow who! Too bad it made me an emotional wreck with spotting and insane menstruation flow! Seriously, the emotions that were oozing out of my eyes was exhausting for both myself and my boyfriend and the monthly ooze was worse than the Nile! I was so nervous about this pill, but,I have been on this birth control for nearly three years. I have had no side effects and it has prevented pregnancy.

I now have a blood clot on my brain from this medicine. Please stay away from this drug!!

So, this pill has effectively prevented pregnancy for me and given me short and manageable periods, with occasional spotting every now and then. It hasn't caused me any weight gain or skin changes and I have been on it for about a year. I only got through the first pack of pills. I cried pretty much every day, multiple times per day over the slightest things. I got headaches about every other day and sometimes they'd last all day regardless of any medicine I took.
