I started taking this pill because my insurance no longer covers birth control. The pill works but the side effects have been terrible for me. My breasts are very tender and retaining alot of water. I also have gained about 20 pounds. I have been on this pill now for about 5 months and have been on birth control pills for about 12 years. This is by far the worst one I have tried. I have been on this F-ing pill for two months now.I HATE IT!!! Nothing but nausea nonstop for the first 2 1/2 months,I lost 20 pounds(only plus side)had period for a whole week, which regularly never happend to me, and now it hasnt come..still have horrible cramps..and more acne than before..do not take this stupid pill..its cheap, and generic..

I have only been using Sprintec for one month but have used it in the past for longer periods of time. I have always suffered from severe pms symptoms that are almost completely alleviated by taking this drug. My periods are shorter and lighter, my cravings are decreased, my bloating is reduced and my sex drive has stayed the same. I would definitly recommend this birth control to anyone lookin ... Ive been on 3 different birth controls since I've started using oral contraceptives. This has got to be the worst of the 3 that I've used. MASSIVE migraines, mood swings like crazy, tired all the time, my eyes become very sensitive to light and endless nausea. Lets not even talk about the large amount of acne that I had. This pill is horrible! I'd have these crazy mood swings, my sex drive was decreasing, and I had this weird gas pain that wouldn't go away. This pill also made me have lots of diarriha. I stopped taking them and no pain, no mood swings, no nothing.. I feel like myself. Do not take these!
